In 1797, French scientist Vauquel discovered chromium.
But it does not prove Cr is a necessary microelement until
1959. It plays a special role in body sugar metabolism
and fat metabolism. Cr is classified as trivalent chromium
and hexavalent chrome. Hexavalent chrome is poisonous
and people can use it after translating it into trivalent
chromium.
¢ Main effect
Although people need few, it plays an important role.
1. ingredient of glucosetolerance gene, regulate
sugar metabolism and keep normal glucosetolerance
2. influence fat metabolism, lower the content of
triglyceride and cholesterol in blood and prevent cardiovascular
disease

¢ How to supplement
trivalent chromium
There is little Cr in natural food and it exists in
form of trivalence. Foods that are rich in Cr are corn,
millet, full straight, Chinese cabbage, pumpkin, animal
liver, honey, distillersyeast and so on.

physiologic tendency of middle aged and elderly people,
it lowers the content of cholesterol and unsaturated
fatty acid in yolk and strengthens the content of DHA
and linolenic acid. It is more suitable to middle aged
and elderly people that the proportion of lecithin and
unsaturated fatty acid, vitamin E and unsaturated fatty
acid, ω-3 unsaturated fatty acid and ω-6 unsaturated
fatty acid and the content of Ca, Cr and Zn. It is really
